Welcome... I hope you enjoy a range of my work which reflects my fascination with the flora and fauna of South West, Western Australia.
I am fortunate to live in a natural environment where I can often observe the subject of my artworks. I usually work from actual examples of flora and fauna plus animal taxidermies, photographs and reference books in either graphite, watercolour and guoache, I am also experimenting with oils. I have worked in the environmental field and have lived on a natve wildlife sanctuary for a number of years, I currently live in the Northern Jarrah forrest of the Darling Scarp in Glen Forrest.
During my development as an artist I have attempted to raise public awareness concerning the plight of many plants and animals and the need for conservation of natural areas. I have had two solo exhibitions at Kingfisher Gallery in Perth, featuring wildlife.
